Once we arrive at our camp named Maji Moto (Hot Springs) we have a chance to view for game such as wildebeest, zebra, ostrich, gazelles and many more before we have dinner at our camp.
Day 2- After breakfast, we can leave our camp for Narosora, via Ndarara. Our trek from here will take us across Savannah plains where we will likely spot game and maybe even a carnivorous predator! We can set up camp at Narosora, or before.
Day 3- This morning we can visit a Maasai culture village which also is used as an education centre for blacksmiths, witchcrafts of the ‘Loibon’ and various Maasai culture inhabitants such as herders and butchers who can show us how they slaughter and treat their meat before preparation. After lunch, we can head through the Maaai grasslands to Ngututu Forest which is sloped in the valley below. At our campsite, we will be able to spot leopards, snakes, and several species of monkeys including baboons, before dinner.
Day 4- After breakfast we can walk through the Loita escarpment passing a viewpoint where Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru can easily be spotted on a clear day. Tanzania’s border of Namanga is a mere six hour walk from here!! We can then descend to Ngurumani camp and after lunch drive to Magadi Soda Lake where wonderful flora abounds. We can also have time to visit the pre- historic site of Olorgeissaile before we transfer back to Nairobi or onto your chosen next destination.
